Like homeowners, renters may register for an assessment. The only difference is that renters must obtain permission from their landlord.

Yes. An adult over the age of 18 must be home.
Our weatherization techs have performed these services on homes of all types. Upon arrival, after the crew Team Leader introduces him or herself, they will perform a brief 5-minute visual assessment of the house, attic, ductwork condition, and accessibility. They will inform the homeowner of any challenges or pre-existing conditions before work. A formal proposal will be provided if the required improvements are excessive and outside the scope of work that the participating utility company incentivizes. There is no charge for the visit. However, we make every attempt to go above and beyond if a noticeable improvement can be made with the funding provided by the utility companies.
In other words, in the worst-case scenario, you receive a free assessment and estimate from a trained, experienced professional.
We are proud of the service we provide and our customer service. We urge you to ask questions and are pleased to show you before and after photos of our work and results. It is the homeowner’s discretion as to how involved you would like to be, but we do encourage questions and participation. In fact, if you want to partake in the hot attic and help us seal your ductwork we would be happy to have you join us.
From air conditioning and heating to every form of insulation and weatherization, we provide all home performance services necessary to improve comfort, indoor air quality, and the energy efficiency of homes and small commercial buildings. Due to the complexity of many homes, some clients require a more detailed inspection and consulting to diagnose contributing factors leading to their comfort issues with a blend of cost-effective resolutions.
* The program incentives to the Trade Allies provide for a particular level of ductwork air sealing and home air sealing. There may be an additional charge based on the condition and extent of work required to seal the ductwork and home. Work shall only take place with the homeowner’s approval if Diversified Energy feels an additional cost is associated.
** The approximate number of inches in the attic and the associated rebate are based on the condition of the existing insulation. Age and gaps, among other characteristics in the existing insulation, can impact the R-value. This information is contained in the estimate.
